Do you love learning something new? Me too!
I’m just thrilled that we live in an era where life-long learning is encouraged and skill-sharing is supported.
I attended a fabulous letterpress workshop back in the summer and this poster above was one of my creations. It pretty much sums up how I feel about the learning community.
No matter what our interests are, whatever the topic, whatever the skill, we’ve so much to learn from each other. Let’s encourage this. Let’s not be precious. Let’s embrace it!
I’ve attended so many wonderful workshops over the last few years, sharing creativity with like-minded others. And having dedicated, creative space to become inspired and learn a new skill is precious time we rarely afford ourselves.
This year I’ve also run a number of creative workshops myself and I’ve taken complete pleasure in passing on some of my own creative knowledge. What I’ve enjoyed most, is breaking down a process into small chunks of do-able loveliness and helping others realise that things are more straightforward than first considered.
And I’d very much like to continue doing this in 2018.
So I am here, inviting you to discover your own inner-crafter at some uncalendared workshops next Spring, starting with:
- An introduction to modern calligraphy
- A beginners guide to creating hand-tied bouquets.
Book via the Eventbrite links below. You could even add this to your Christmas wish list. Gift certificates are available on request.
Or perhaps you’d like to book a place as a Christmas gift for a special friend or family member. How lovely! Indeed, sharing the experience with someone special is precious in itself. Who would you enjoy spending this time with?
I very much hope to see some of you in the Spring. Let’s not be afraid to continue trying new things in 2018.
I’m quite excited.
