It’s hot chocolate season!
These chocolate stirrers are an easy way to make this cosy winter drink a little more exciting for children and adults alike.
Place them in little cellophane bags with some ribbon and they become nice little additions to stockings or Christmas Eve boxes, or even as a little add-on for that special gift.
Or add them to a Hot Chocolate Bar when entertaining families this Christmas season.
The hardest part will be deciding which flavours to make (and not munching chocolate squares before melting!)
Hot Chocolate Stirrers
You will need:
- Flexible ice cube tray (you’ll be grateful for this flexibility when trying to remove your stirrer from the mould)
- Short-handled wooden spoons (short handles stand in place much better than longer ones)
- Slab of your chocolate of choice
- (Optional) cellophane bags and ribbon for packaging.
Simply pour melted chocolate into each mould, wait to set a little before inserting each spoon, then chill for 15 minutes.
Once firm, remove each block of chocolate loveliness (cue gratitude for the flexible mould).
Stir into hot milk.
